Senior Accountant

The Senior Accountant will be responsible for overseeing the financial operations of our company in Al-Kuwait. They will manage all accounting processes, prepare financial reports, and ensure compliance with local and international standards. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in accounting, excellent communication skills, and a detail-oriented mindset. This is an English-speaking position and accommodation will be provided for non-local candidates. Visa sponsorship is also available for qualified candidates from Africa or Egypt.

Responsibilities:
- Oversee the day-to-day financial operations of the company
- Prepare and analyze financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements
- Ensure compliance with local and international accounting standards
- Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes
- Monitor budgeting and forecasting activities
- Conduct regular audits to identify and resolve any discrepancies
- Provide guidance and support to junior accounting staff
- Develop and implement efficient accounting procedures
- Communicate with clients, vendors, and regulatory agencies as needed

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting or related field
- Strong knowledge of local and international accounting standards
- Excellent communication skills in English (Arabic is a plus)
- Detail-oriented with strong analytical skills
- Proficient in using accounting software (e.g. Quickbooks, SAP)
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Experience managing junior staff is preferred

Salary: 1800$ per month

Location: Al-Kuwait
