Wedding Planner and Coordinator

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Wedding Planner and Coordinator to join our team in Doha. As a leading event planning company, we specialize in creating unforgettable weddings for our clients. The ideal candidate will have a strong passion for weddings, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to work under pressure.

Responsibilities:
- Meet with clients to discuss their vision for their wedding and determine their budget
- Research and recommend vendors and venues that fit within the client's budget and preferences
- Negotiate contracts with vendors on behalf of the client
- Create detailed timelines and schedules for each aspect of the wedding
- Coordinate with vendors to ensure all details are in place leading up to the wedding day
- Oversee all aspects of the wedding day, including set-up, decorations, catering, transportation, etc.
- Handle any issues or emergencies that may arise during the planning process or on the wedding day
- Maintain communication with the client throughout the planning process to ensure their vision is being executed successfully

Requirements:
- Must be fluent in English (Arabic proficiency is a plus)
- Previous experience as a wedding planner or coordinator is preferred but not required
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Knowledge of local vendors, venues, and customs in Doha is an advantage
- Must be able to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends
- Bachelor's degree in event management or related field is preferred

Contract Details:
This is a contract position with an initial duration of 6 months. The successful candidate will receive a salary of $1200 per month along with accommodation provided by the company.
