Head Chef - Executive Chef

We are seeking a talented and experienced Head Chef to lead our kitchen team in Jizan, Saudi Arabia. As the Head Chef, you will be responsible for creating and overseeing the execution of our menu, managing inventory and purchasing, training and supervising kitchen staff, and ensuring the highest quality standards for food preparation and presentation. You must have a minimum of 5 years of experience as an Executive Chef in a high-end restaurant or hotel setting. Knowledge of Pakistani or Malayalee cuisine is preferred but not required. This is a temporary position with the possibility of extension, with accommodation provided and visa sponsorship available for non-Saudi nationals. This is an urgent opening so candidates must be able to join immediately. The salary for this position is 1800$ per month.

As our Head Chef, you will be responsible for:

- Creating and maintaining a high-quality menu that reflects our brand and meets customer expectations
- Managing inventory levels to ensure efficient food costing and minimizing waste
- Ordering necessary ingredients and supplies in a timely manner
- Training kitchen staff on proper cooking techniques, food safety standards, and maintaining cleanliness in the kitchen
- Supervising kitchen staff during service hours to ensure timely preparation and presentation of meals
- Maintaining high standards for food preparation, presentation, and taste
- Ensuring compliance with all health codes and regulations
- Collaborating with other departments to plan events or special menus

To be considered for this role, you must have:

- A minimum of 5 years of experience as an Executive Chef in a high-end restaurant or hotel setting
- A strong background in culinary arts with knowledge of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment, etc.
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to train and manage kitchen staff effectively
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage inventory levels efficiently
- A passion for creating delicious dishes that meet customer expectations
- Knowledge of Pakistani or Malayalee cuisine is preferred but not required
- A valid work visa for Saudi Arabia (sponsorship available for non-Saudi nationals)
- The ability to join immediately and work in a fast-paced environment
