Executive Chef - Sharjah, UAE


We are in search of a talented and experienced Executive Chef to join our team at a reputable restaurant in Sharjah. As an Executive Chef, you will be responsible for overseeing the kitchen operations, menu planning, food costing and ensuring high-quality dishes are served to our customers. The ideal candidate should have excellent leadership skills, be creative and have a passion for food. You must also possess strong communication skills and the ability to work well under pressure. This is a full-time position with a salary of 1000$. Candidates from African or Egyptian nationality are preferred. English language proficiency is not required for this role.

Responsibilities:
- Plan and create new menus based on seasonal availability
- Develop recipes and ensure consistency in taste and presentation
- Manage kitchen staff, assign tasks and monitor their performance
- Oversee food preparation, cooking and plating to maintain high standards
- Monitor inventory levels, order supplies and control food cost
- Ensure compliance with hygiene and safety regulations at all times
- Train new employees on proper cooking techniques and kitchen procedures
- Collaborate with management to develop pricing strategies for menus

Requirements:
- Proven experience as an Executive Chef or similar role in a reputable restaurant
- In-depth knowledge of culinary techniques, ingredients, equipment, and procedures
- Ability to create innovative dishes while maintaining traditional recipes
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage a diverse team
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of food cost control techniques
- Candidates from African or Egyptian nationality preferred
