Phlebotomy Technician


A reputable medical clinic in Al-Khor is seeking a skilled and dedicated Phlebotomy Technician to join our team. As a Phlebotomy Technician, you will be responsible for collecting blood samples from patients for laboratory testing and analysis.

Responsibilities:
- Perform venipuncture and capillary puncture on patients of all ages
- Properly label and store collected blood samples for transport to the laboratory
- Accurately record patient information and test results in electronic medical records system
- Adhere to all safety protocols when handling blood samples and using equipment
- Maintain clean and organized work area, including disposing of sharps properly
- Interact with patients in a professional and compassionate manner, ensuring their comfort during procedures
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate sample collection and delivery of results

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Certification as a phlebotomist or medical assistant preferred
- Experience working as a phlebotomy technician highly desired but not required
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Attention to detail and ability to follow strict procedures
- Physical stamina to stand for long periods of time and lift up to 25 pounds

Salary:
