Phlebotomist in Sakaka, Saudi Arabia
We are seeking a skilled and certified Phlebotomist to join our medical team in Sakaka, Saudi Arabia. As a Phlebotomist, you will be responsible for drawing blood samples from patients and ensuring their safe collection and transport for testing. You will also be responsible for maintaining accurate records and following strict safety protocols to prevent the spread of infections. The ideal candidate must have a valid biometric passport and be fluent in English. This is a part-time position without accommodation. Preference will be given to African or Egyptian candidates. Salary: 1000$ per month
Responsibilities:
- Greet patients and explain the blood drawing process
- Verify patient information and ensure proper identification
- Sterilize equipment and prepare necessary supplies
- Locate veins suitable for blood extraction
- Draw blood samples using appropriate techniques
- Label samples accurately and organize them for transport
- Follow safety protocols to prevent contamination or infection
- Maintain accurate records of all blood draws
- Handle any issues or concerns from patients with professionalism and empathy
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Certification as a Phlebotomist from an accredited program
- Minimum of 1 year experience working as a Phlebotomist
- Valid biometric passport is mandatory for this position
- Fluent in English, both written and verbal communication skills required
- Excellent bedside manner with strong customer service skills
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure with attention to detail
- Familiarity with medical terminology and basic knowledge of laboratory procedures
Working Conditions:
This is a part-time position (20 hours per week) without accommodation. The schedule may include evening or weekend shifts depending on the needs of the clinic. The work environment is a medical clinic and may involve standing for extended periods and exposure to blood and bodily fluids. Strict safety protocols are in place to protect against infection.
