Office Assistant
We are hiring an organized and efficient Office Assistant to join our team in Muscat. As an Office Assistant, you will be responsible for providing administrative support and ensuring the smooth operation of our office. Your duties will include answering phone calls, maintaining files and records, scheduling appointments, and assisting with various office tasks as needed. The ideal candidate for this position will have excellent communication and organizational skills, as well as familiarity with office equipment and basic computer programs. This is a full-time position with a salary of 1500$ per month, accommodation provided, and visa sponsorship available for non-Omani nationals.
Responsibilities:
- Answering phone calls and directing them to the appropriate individuals
- Greeting visitors and directing them to the appropriate area or person
- Maintaining files and records accurately
- Scheduling appointments and maintaining calendars
- Monitoring inventory of office supplies and ordering more when necessary
- Assisting with basic accounting tasks such as invoicing and data entry
- Performing other administrative tasks as needed
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Proven experience in an administrative role preferred
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively
- Knowledge of basic accounting principles preferred
