Experienced Mason - Al Ahmadi


We are in need of a skilled and experienced Mason to join our team in Al Ahmadi. As a Mason, you will be responsible for constructing, repairing, and maintaining structures such as walls, floors, and chimneys using various materials including bricks, concrete blocks, stones, and tiles. The ideal candidate should have at least 3 years of experience working as a Mason in the construction industry.

Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret blueprints or construction plans to determine the type and size of materials needed
- Prepare surfaces for building by laying out appropriate foundations or footings
- Mix mortar or grout according to specifications and apply it evenly to surfaces using various tools such as trowels or cement guns
- Lay bricks, concrete blocks, stones or tiles in a neat and orderly manner to construct walls or other structures
- Use levels, rulers or other measuring devices to ensure accuracy and proper alignment of structures
- Repair existing structures by replacing damaged bricks or stones
- Clean work areas by removing debris or excess mortar after completing job tasks

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent qualification
- Proven experience working as a Mason in the construction industry for at least 3 years
- In-depth knowledge of different masonry techniques and materials used in construction
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints or construction plans accurately
- Proficient with using various tools such as trowels, hammers, levels etc.
- Physically fit with good hand-eye coordination for handling heavy materials and working on scaffolding at elevated heights

Salary:
