Retail Merchandiser - Sharjah, UAE


We are searching for a detail-oriented and creative Retail Merchandiser to join our team in Sharjah, UAE. As a Retail Merchandiser, you will be responsible for developing and implementing merchandising strategies to increase sales and optimize product placement. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for visual presentation and an understanding of consumer behavior.

Responsibilities:
- Develop merchandising strategies in line with company objectives and target audience
- Collaborate with buyers to source products and negotiate pricing
- Analyze sales data to identify best-selling products and make recommendations for stock replenishment
- Design appealing displays that showcase products effectively and attract customers
- Ensure that all products are priced correctly and have accurate product information
- Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and consumer preferences
- Plan and execute promotions, sales events, and other marketing initiatives to drive sales
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of products
- Conduct store visits to ensure proper implementation of merchandising standards
- Train store staff on product knowledge and visual merchandising techniques

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's degree in Marketing or related field is preferred
- Experience as a Retail Merchandiser or similar role is preferred but not required
- Familiarity with retail math, inventory management, and visual merchandising techniques
- Ability to analyze data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions
- Excellent communication skills in English; proficiency in Malayalam is highly desirable
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
- Willingness to work flexible hours including weekends
- Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds

Salary: 1300$ per month (tax-free)
