Entry-Level Surveyor

As an entry-level surveyor, you will assist in conducting land surveys and measurements to determine property boundaries, topography, and other features. Your responsibilities will include setting up equipment, taking measurements, recording data, and assisting with report preparation. You will work closely with a team of experienced surveyors and have the opportunity to learn from their expertise. This position is ideal for someone without prior experience in surveying who is eager to learn and develop skills in this field. Visa sponsorship is available for non-Omani candidates. This is a part-time job suitable for students or individuals looking for flexible working hours. Located in Khasab, Oman.

Salary: $1300 per month (pro-rated for part-time)

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Basic understanding of mathematics and geometry
- Previous experience with surveying equipment is a plus
- Proficient in English (Arabic language skills are preferred)
- Detail-oriented and able to work well in a team environment

Duties:
- Set up equipment such as total stations, GPS receivers, and levels
- Take accurate measurements of land features using various tools
- Record data and organize it into maps, charts, or reports
- Assist with report preparation by providing accurate data and observations
- Communicate effectively with team members to ensure project goals are met
- Follow safety guidelines at all times while working on site
