Part-Time Baker
Location: Muscat, Oman


We are in need of a skilled and experienced Part-Time Baker to join our team in Muscat. As a Baker, you will be responsible for preparing and baking a variety of breads, pastries, and other baked goods according to traditional and modern recipes. You will also be responsible for maintaining a clean and organized work area, ensuring all safety regulations are followed, and assisting with inventory management.

Responsibilities:
- Prepare and bake a variety of breads, pastries, and other baked goods according to recipes
- Mix ingredients using commercial equipment
- Monitor oven temperatures to ensure proper baking times
- Decorate baked goods as needed
- Ensure all safety regulations are followed at all times
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Assist with inventory management by tracking supplies and notifying management of any shortages or discrepancies
- Provide excellent customer service by answering questions about products in a friendly manner

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent education
- Minimum of 2 years experience as a baker in a professional kitchen or bakery setting
- Strong knowledge of traditional and modern baking techniques
- Ability to read and follow recipes accurately
- Excellent time-management skills to ensure timely completion of tasks
- Ability to work well independently as well as part of a team
- Physical stamina to stand for long periods of time and lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs)

Salary: $1100 per month (pro-rated based on hours worked)
Working Hours: Part-time (hours may vary)
Start Date: Immediate
