Cashier for Retail Store in Sharjah, UAE

We are hiring a Cashier to join our team at a retail store in Sharjah, UAE. As a Cashier, you will be responsible for handling cash and card transactions accurately and efficiently while providing excellent customer service. Your main duties will include processing sales transactions, issuing receipts, handling returns and exchanges, and maintaining accurate records of daily transactions.

Key Responsibilities:
- Greet customers and assist them with their purchases
- Scan items and ensure correct pricing
- Process cash and card payments accurately
- Issue receipts, refunds, and exchanges as needed
- Maintain accurate records of daily transactions
- Answer customer inquiries and resolve any issues or complaints
- Ensure the checkout area is clean and organized at all times
- Collaborate with other team members to achieve sales goals
- Follow all company policies and procedures regarding cash handling and customer service

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education or training in accounting or business is a plus
- Previous experience as a cashier or in a similar role preferred
- Familiarity with electronic equipment like cash registers and POS systems
- Strong math skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to handle cash accurately and efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed

Salary: 1400$ per month + benefits including health insurance, annual leave, airfare allowance.
