Cashier
We are seeking a customer service-oriented individual to join our team as a Cashier in Manama. As a Cashier, you will be responsible for handling cash transactions, providing excellent customer service, and maintaining accurate records of sales.
Responsibilities:
- Greet and assist customers with their purchases
- Process cash and card transactions accurately and efficiently
- Maintain a clean and organized checkout area
- Handle customer inquiries and complaints in a professional manner
- Ensure all products are properly scanned and priced
- Count and balance cash drawer at the end of each shift
- Keep track of inventory levels and report any discrepancies to management
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Proven work experience as a cashier or in a similar role is preferred but not required
- Excellent customer service skills
- Strong numerical aptitude with attention to detail
- Ability to handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently
- Basic math skills and proficiency in using calculators
- Good communication skills in English, knowledge of Arabic is a plus
- Must be able to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
Salary:
The starting salary for this position is $1300 per month.
