Skilled Carpenter


We are in search of a skilled Carpenter to join our team in Medina. As a Carpenter, you will be responsible for constructing, installing, and repairing structures and fixtures made of wood, plywood, and wallboard. Your main duties will include measuring and cutting materials, following blueprints and building plans, and inspecting and repairing damaged structures.

To be successful in this role, you should have experience working with various hand tools and power tools, as well as knowledge of carpentry techniques. You must have good hand-eye coordination, physical stamina, and the ability to interpret technical drawings. A keen eye for detail is also crucial as you will be responsible for ensuring that all finished products meet quality standards.

Responsibilities:
- Measure and mark cutting lines on materials according to blueprints or specifications
- Install structures or fixtures such as windows, frames, floorings, trimmings using appropriate tools
- Follow safety procedures at all times to avoid accidents or injuries
- Inspect structures to determine if repairs are needed
- Repair or replace damaged parts using hand or power tools
- Collaborate with other team members to complete projects within given deadlines
- Maintain clean and organized work area at all times

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Carpenter or similar role
- Proficient in working with hand tools such as saws, drills, chisels etc.
- Ability to read technical drawings/blueprints
- Strong knowledge of carpentry techniques and methods
- Physical stamina and manual dexterity
- Attention to detail
- Excellent time management skills
- High school diploma; Vocational training or apprenticeship is a plus
