Instrument Technician



A leading company in Isa Town is seeking a skilled and experienced Instrument Technician to join our team. As an Instrument Technician, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing various instruments and control systems used in industrial processes. This is a full-time position with a competitive salary of 1500$. Accommodation will also be provided for the successful candidate.

Responsibilities:
- Install, calibrate, and maintain various instruments and control systems such as pressure gauges, temperature sensors, flow meters, and controllers.
- Conduct routine inspections to identify any potential issues or malfunctions.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose problems with instruments and control systems.
- Repair or replace faulty components as needed.
- Ensure all work is carried out in accordance with safety procedures and regulations.
- Keep accurate records of work performed and equipment maintenance history.
- Collaborate with other technicians and engineers to ensure efficient operation of equipment.

Requirements:
- Proven experience as an Instrument Technician or similar role.
- Knowledge of various instruments and control systems used in industrial processes.
- Familiarity with electrical wiring diagrams and schematics.
- Ability to read technical manuals and schematics.
- Strong troubleshooting skills.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Good physical stamina for working in confined spaces or at heights.
- Valid driver's license.

Preferred:
While not mandatory, the following qualifications would be considered an asset:
- Diploma or certificate in instrumentation or related field
- Experience working with PLCs (Programmable Logic Controllers)
- Experience with calibration procedures
