Cashier

We are hiring a Cashier to join our team in Muharraq! As a Cashier, you will be responsible for handling cash transactions accurately and efficiently, while providing excellent customer service. This position is suitable for experienced individuals who are detail-oriented and have excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities:
- Greet customers and process their purchases accurately
- Accept payments in the form of cash, credit or debit cards
- Issue receipts and change to customers as needed
- Maintain a clean and organized checkout area
- Assist with price checks and product inquiries
- Handle returns and exchanges in accordance with company policies
- Keep track of inventory levels and inform management when stocks are low
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure smooth store operations

Requirements:
- Proven work experience as a cashier or in a similar role
- Familiarity with electronic POS systems is preferred
- Strong math skills with the ability to handle cash accurately
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Customer service-oriented with the ability to handle difficult situations calmly
- Must be detail-oriented and able to multitask effectively

Salary:
We offer a competitive salary of $1700 per month for this contract position.

This job is located in Muharraq, Bahrain.
