Dishwasher - Indian Cuisine

As a Dishwasher for our Indian restaurant in Al-Rayyan, your primary responsibility will be to maintain the cleanliness and sanitation of all dishes, utensils, and cooking equipment used in the kitchen. You will work closely with the kitchen staff to ensure a smooth and efficient flow of dishes and maintain a clean and organized work environment.

Responsibilities:
- Wash dishes, utensils, and cooking equipment by hand or using commercial dishwashers
- Sort and stack clean dishes for easy access by kitchen staff
- Ensure all dishes are properly cleaned and sanitized according to health codes
- Maintain a clean and organized work area at all times
- Assist with food prep as needed, such as peeling vegetables or portioning ingredients
- Help with receiving deliveries and restocking supplies as needed

Requirements:
- Previous experience working in a fast-paced kitchen environment preferred
- Ability to follow directions and work well with others in a team setting
- Physical ability to stand for long periods of time and lift up to 50 pounds
- Basic understanding of food safety principles
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask effectively

Working Hours:
This is a full-time position with an average of 40 hours per week. The working hours may vary depending on the needs of the restaurant, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Salary:
Starting salary for this position is $1200 per month.
