Senior Accountant

We are looking for an experienced Senior Accountant to join our team in Ar-Ruwais. As a Senior Accountant, you will be responsible for managing the financial records and transactions of our company. You should have a strong understanding of accounting principles and be able to work independently. This is a full-time position with a salary of $1500 per month.

Responsibilities:
- Prepare and maintain accurate financial records, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements
- Monitor daily cash flow and bank reconciliations
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
- Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable
- Ensure timely and accurate processing of payroll
- Review expenses and identify areas for cost-saving measures
- Assist with budgeting and forecasting processes
- Stay up-to-date with accounting regulations and best practices

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
- At least 5 years of experience as an Accountant or in a similar role
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, standards, and regulations
- Proficient in MS Office and accounting software (e.g. Quickbooks)
- Excellent communication skills in English (both written and verbal)
- Attention to detail and accuracy in work
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

Preferred Skills:
- Experience working in the UAE or GCC region
- CPA or other relevant certification will be considered an asset
