Senior Accountant

We are hiring a Senior Accountant to join our finance team in Bayan. As a Senior Accountant, you will be responsible for managing and overseeing the company's financial transactions, ensuring their accuracy and compliance with laws and regulations. You will also be responsible for preparing financial statements and reports, analyzing data to provide insights and recommendations, and managing the budgeting process.

Responsibilities:
- Manage day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable/receivable, general ledger entries, and bank reconciliations
- Ensure timely and accurate month-end closing activities
- Prepare financial statements and reports in accordance with GAAP standards
- Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for cost savings or revenue growth
- Develop and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets
- Assist with budgeting process and monitor actual performance against budgeted targets
- Provide support during external audits by preparing necessary documentation and responding to auditor inquiries
- Mentor junior accountants and provide guidance on accounting principles and procedures

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA or equivalent certification preferred)
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as an Accountant, preferably in a senior or supervisory role
- Strong knowledge of GAAP principles and financial reporting standards
- Proficient in using accounting software (e.g. QuickBooks) and MS Excel for data analysis
- Excellent communication skills (English proficiency required)
- Attention to detail with strong analytical skills
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment
