As a Head Pastry Chef, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the pastry department in our high-end restaurant located in Nizwa, Oman. You will be a highly skilled and experienced pastry chef with a creative flair and a passion for creating delicious desserts. Your main duties will include developing new pastry recipes, managing inventory and ordering supplies, training and supervising junior pastry cooks, and ensuring the quality and presentation of all desserts meet our high standards.

To be successful in this role, you must have at least 5 years of experience as a pastry chef in a fine dining establishment, preferably with experience as a head or executive chef. You must have excellent knowledge of baking techniques and ingredients, as well as the ability to create visually appealing desserts that taste as good as they look. In addition to your technical skills, you must also have strong leadership abilities and the ability to work well under pressure.

In this position, you will work closely with our executive chef to develop new menus and dessert offerings that align with our restaurant's concept and seasonality. You will also be responsible for managing food costs by controlling waste and utilizing ingredients effectively. As the head pastry chef, you will also play an important role in maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment while adhering to all health and safety regulations.
