Contract Librarian

We are urgently seeking a Contract Librarian to join our library in Al Buraymi. As a librarian, you will be responsible for managing and developing our library's collections, providing research and information services to library members, and promoting library resources and programs. The ideal candidate will have previous experience working as a librarian, excellent organizational skills, and a strong passion for literature and information management.

Responsibilities:
- Manage the acquisition, organization, and maintenance of library collections
- Assist library members with research inquiries and provide information services
- Develop and promote library programs and events to engage the community
- Maintain records of library transactions, circulation, and membership data
- Provide technical support for the use of library resources and equipment
- Stay updated on current trends in literature, technology, and information management
- Collaborate with other librarians to enhance the overall quality of our library services

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Library Science or a related field
- Previous experience working as a librarian or in a similar role
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Knowledge of current trends in literature, technology, and information management
- Fluency in English (Arabic language skills are an advantage)
