Carpenter - Sharjah, UAE



We are seeking a skilled and experienced Carpenter to join our team in Sharjah, UAE. As a Carpenter, you will be responsible for constructing, installing, and repairing structures and fixtures made of wood, plywood, and other materials. Your role will involve working with various tools and equipment to measure, cut, shape, and join materials according to specified plans or blueprints.

Responsibilities:
- Study plans or blueprints to determine project requirements
- Measure and mark cutting lines on materials
- Cut materials using hand or power tools
- Shape or smooth edges using hand tools and sandpaper
- Assemble and fasten materials using nails, screws, staples, or adhesives
- Install structures such as windows, frames, floorings, trimmings etc.
- Repair or replace damaged structures or fixtures
- Inspect work for quality standards and make necessary adjustments
- Follow safety procedures at all times

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Carpenter or similar role
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints/plans
- Knowledge of different carpentry techniques and tools
- Good understanding of wood properties and ability to work with different types of wood
- Physical strength and stamina to handle heavy equipment and materials
- Attention to detail with excellent hand-eye coordination
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
- Good time management skills to meet project deadlines

We offer competitive salary of 1200$ per month along with accommodation. This is a full-time position but we also welcome part-time applicants. No prior experience required as we provide on-the-job training. All nationalities are welcome to apply.
