Head Chef at Luxury Resort in Khasab, Oman



We are seeking a talented and experienced Head Chef to lead our culinary team at a luxury resort in Khasab, Oman. As the Head Chef, you will be responsible for creating and developing menu offerings that showcase the flavors and ingredients of Oman while also incorporating international influences.

Responsibilities:
- Oversee all aspects of the kitchen operation, including food preparation, cooking, and plating
- Create and update menu offerings based on seasonal availability of ingredients and guest feedback
- Train, supervise, and mentor kitchen staff to ensure high quality dishes are consistently produced
- Monitor food costs and maintain inventory levels to maximize profitability
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen according to health codes and company standards
- Collaborate with other departments to plan special events or themed dinners

Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years experience as a Sous Chef or Head Chef in a high-end restaurant or hotel setting
- Strong leadership skills with experience managing a team of at least 10 cooks
- Extensive knowledge of Omani cuisine and ability to incorporate local ingredients into menu offerings
- Creativity in developing new dishes while also maintaining traditional favorites
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Fluent in English (Arabic language skills are a plus)
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail

Salary: 1400$ per month (negotiable based on experience)
