Contract Carpenter in Muharraq, Bahrain

We are currently seeking an experienced Carpenter to join our team in Muharraq, Bahrain on a contract basis. As a Carpenter, you will be responsible for constructing, repairing, and installing wooden structures and fixtures according to specifications. You will also be required to work with different types of building materials and tools while adhering to safety protocols.

Required Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Carpenter
- Proficiency in using hand and power tools
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
- Strong knowledge of different wood types and their properties
- Attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills
- Good physical stamina and ability to work in various weather conditions
- Valid visa for working in Bahrain or willingness to obtain one
- Willingness to live on-site in company-provided accommodation

Responsibilities:
- Study blueprints, sketches, or building plans for information on materials required
- Measure and cut wood or other building materials according to specifications
- Install structures such as windows, frames, floorings, trimmings, etc.
- Repair damaged or broken structures using appropriate tools and techniques
- Ensure all work is done according to safety standards and building codes
- Communicate effectively with other team members to ensure project deadlines are met
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Perform routine maintenance on tools and equipment

Salary:
The salary for this position is $1100 per month. In addition, the company will provide accommodation on-site.
