Excavator operator vacancy in Salalah Oman

Excavator Operator

A construction company in Salalah is seeking an experienced Excavator Operator to join our team. As an Excavator Operator, you will be responsible for operating heavy equipment such as excavators, bulldozers, and loaders to prepare construction sites and move materials. This is a full-time position with a salary of 1800$ per month and visa sponsorship is available for non-Omani applicants. This role is also suitable for students who are looking for job opportunities in the construction industry.

Responsibilities:
- Operate heavy equipment, including excavators, bulldozers, and loaders according to safety guidelines
- Prepare construction sites by clearing debris and setting up barricades
- Follow project plans and instructions from supervisors
- Dig trenches and holes as needed for foundations or pipes
- Load and transport materials such as dirt, rocks, or debris
- Inspect equipment before and after use to ensure proper functioning
- Perform routine maintenance on equipment as needed
- Adhere to all safety regulations and report any hazards or issues to supervisors

Requirements:
- At least 2 years of experience operating heavy equipment, preferably excavators
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Knowledge of safety regulations and procedures for operating heavy equipment
- Ability to read project plans and follow instructions from supervisors
- Good hand-eye coordination and physical strength to operate equipment for extended periods of time
- Excellent communication skills in English (Arabic language skills are a plus)
- Must have a valid work visa (sponsorship available)
