Head Baker
A well-established bakery in Hawalli is seeking a talented and experienced Head Baker to join our team. As the Head Baker, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the bakery's operations, including production, quality control, and staff management. Your main goal will be to ensure that our bakery consistently produces high-quality products that meet our customers' expectations.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee all aspects of the bakery's operations, including production, quality control, and staff management
- Create and maintain production schedules to ensure timely delivery of products
- Ensure that all baked goods are consistently produced to meet our high standards
- Train and mentor junior bakers and other staff members
- Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment
- Adhere to food safety regulations at all times
- Collaborate with other departments to improve processes and increase efficiency
Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years of experience as a baker in a commercial bakery setting
- Proven track record of producing high-quality baked goods on a consistent basis
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to train and mentor junior staff members
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Fluent in English (knowledge of Arabic or Malayalam is a plus)
- Must be physically fit and able to stand for long periods of time
- Preference for Pakistani or Malayalee nationality
Salary:
Starting salary of 1700$ per month with potential for growth based on performance.
