Accountant - Doha


We are currently seeking a highly motivated and experienced Accountant to join our team in Doha. As an Accountant, you will be responsible for managing all financial transactions, from fixed payments and variable expenses to bank deposits and budgets. You will also be responsible for analyzing financial information and preparing financial reports to determine or maintain record of assets, liabilities, profit and loss, tax liability, or other financial activities within our organization.

Responsibilities:
- Prepare asset, liability, and capital account entries by compiling and analyzing account information
- Document financial transactions by entering account information
- Recommend financial actions by analyzing accounting options
- Summarize current financial status by collecting information; preparing balance sheet, profit and loss statement, and other reports
- Substantiate financial transactions by auditing documents
- Guide accounting clerical staff by coordinating activities and answering questions
- Reconcile financial discrepancies by collecting and analyzing account information
- Secure financial information by completing database backups
- Maintain financial security by following internal controls
- Prepare payments by verifying documentation, and requesting disbursements
- Comply with federal, state, and local financial legal requirements by studying existing and new legislation; enforcing adherence to requirements; filing reports; advising management on needed actions

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field required
- Minimum 3 years of experience in accounting or a related field preferred
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and procedures
- Excellent communication skills
- Attention to detail
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications

Salary: $1200 per month (negotiable based on experience)

Location: Doha

Employment Type: Contract (6 months with possibility of extension)
