Instrument Technician



We are hiring an experienced Instrument Technician to join our team in Khasab, Oman. As an Instrument Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining, repairing, and calibrating various types of instruments used in industrial and manufacturing settings. This is a full-time position with competitive salary of 1400$ per month.

Responsibilities:
- Conduct routine maintenance and troubleshoot issues with various types of instruments such as pressure gauges, temperature sensors, flow meters, and control valves
- Perform repairs and replacements on faulty or damaged instruments
- Calibrate instruments according to manufacturer specifications and industry standards
- Keep detailed records of maintenance and calibration activities
- Collaborate with other technicians and engineers to identify problems and find solutions
- Follow safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment at all times
- Stay up-to-date with industry developments and new technologies related to instrumentation

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; Technical diploma in instrumentation preferred
- Minimum of 2 years experience as an Instrument Technician in an industrial or manufacturing setting
- Knowledge of various types of instruments, their functions, and how to troubleshoot issues
- Strong understanding of calibration methods and equipment
- Ability to read technical drawings and manuals
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Attention to detail and ability to work accurately under pressure
- Good communication skills in English; knowledge of Arabic is a plus
