Radio Technician

Location: Khasab, Oman

Salary: $1300 per month



We are currently hiring a skilled Radio Technician to join our team in Khasab, Oman. As a Radio Technician, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of radio equipment. This role requires technical expertise and knowledge of various radio systems.

Responsibilities:
- Install and configure radio equipment according to specifications
- Conduct routine maintenance and repair work on radio systems
- Troubleshoot and resolve any issues with radio equipment
- Keep accurate records of all repairs and maintenance work performed
- Stay updated on advancements in radio technology and make recommendations for upgrades or improvements
- Collaborate with other technicians to ensure efficient operations of all radio systems
- Adhere to safety protocols while working with high-voltage equipment

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree or certification preferred
- Prior experience as a Radio Technician or similar role preferred
- Knowledge of various radio systems such as HF, VHF, UHF, and satellite communications
- Familiarity with electrical circuitry and troubleshooting techniques
- Ability to read technical manuals and schematics
- Good communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment
- Physically fit to perform duties that may require standing, bending, lifting heavy equipment, etc.
- Willingness to work flexible hours if necessary
