Excavator Operator


We are seeking a skilled Excavator Operator to join our team in Hawalli. As an Excavator Operator, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining heavy equipment used for digging and moving earth, including excavators, bulldozers, and backhoes. You will work on various construction projects, such as building roads, digging foundations, and clearing land.

Responsibilities:
- Safely operate excavators and other heavy equipment according to project specifications
- Perform routine maintenance on equipment to ensure proper functioning
- Communicate with team members to coordinate tasks and ensure safety protocols are followed
- Read and interpret blueprints or other construction plans to determine digging locations and depths
- Monitor excavation progress and adjust techniques as needed
- Report any equipment malfunctions or safety hazards immediately

Requirements:
- Proven experience as an Excavator Operator in a construction setting
- Knowledge of different types of heavy equipment and their functions
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints or construction plans
- Physical strength and stamina to operate heavy machinery for extended periods of time
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and attention to detail
- Valid driver's license
- Must be willing to work outdoors in various weather conditions

Preferred:
- Experience operating other types of heavy equipment
- Knowledge of basic mechanics for performing minor repairs on equipment
- Relevant certifications or training
