Librarian for English-Speaking School in Medina, Saudi Arabia

We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced Librarian to join our English-speaking school in Medina. As a Librarian, you will be responsible for managing our school's library and providing resources and support to both students and faculty. This is a full-time position with accommodation provided. We welcome applications from Indian nationals who are fluent in English and have experience working as a librarian in an educational setting.

Responsibilities:
- Manage the school library, including organizing and cataloging books, maintaining the collection, and creating a welcoming space for students
- Assist students and faculty in finding appropriate resources for their research needs
- Develop and implement library programs to promote reading and literacy among students
- Collaborate with teachers to integrate library resources into lesson plans
- Stay updated on new books, technology, and resources that can enhance the library's offerings
- Train students on how to use library resources effectively
- Assist with budget planning for the library
- Maintain accurate records of library materials and track circulation statistics

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Library Science or a related field
- Minimum of 2 years of experience working as a librarian in an educational setting
- Fluent in English, both written and verbal (additional languages are a plus)
- Strong knowledge of library systems, cataloging, and information retrieval techniques
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail
- Ability to work collaboratively with others
- Familiarity with current technology used in libraries
- Passion for promoting reading and literacy among students
