Cashier (Indian Nationals)


A well-established retail store in Al-Rayyan is seeking a friendly and customer-oriented Cashier to join our team. The ideal candidate should be fluent in English and possess excellent communication skills. As a Cashier, you will be responsible for handling cash transactions, providing exceptional customer service, and maintaining accurate records of sales and inventory. This is a contract position, suitable for individuals who have their own visa.

Responsibilities:
- Greet customers as they enter the store and assist them with their purchases
- Scan and process items accurately at the checkout counter
- Accept payments in the form of cash, credit or debit cards, and issue receipts
- Count money in the cash register at the beginning and end of each shift to ensure correct amounts
- Maintain a clean and organized checkout area
- Answer customer inquiries regarding products, prices, availability, etc.
- Keep track of inventory levels and inform management when stocks are running low

Requirements:
- Indian nationality preferred
- Proven work experience as a Cashier or in a similar role
- Excellent communication skills in English; knowledge of Arabic is a plus
- Basic math skills with the ability to handle transactions quickly and accurately
- Customer service-oriented with a positive attitude towards customers
- Able to work flexible shifts including weekends and holidays
