Cashier for Indian Restaurant in Al-Rayyan


We are seeking a friendly and efficient Cashier to join our team at an Indian restaurant in Al-Rayyan. As the first point of contact for our customers, the ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills and a positive attitude. Experience in cash handling and customer service is preferred, but we are willing to train the right individual. This job requires candidates to be fluent in English and have experience working in a fast-paced environment. The main responsibility of this role is to process transactions accurately and efficiently, while providing exceptional customer service. This is a full-time position with a salary of 1700$. Accommodation is not provided.

Key Responsibilities:
- Greet customers warmly and assist them with their orders
- Operate cash register and handle all financial transactions accurately
- Maintain clean and organized checkout areas
- Ensure all prices and quantities are accurate on products
- Answer customer questions and address any concerns or complaints
- Upsell products or special deals to increase sales
- Follow proper cash handling procedures at all times
- Keep track of inventory levels and restock as needed
- Assist with opening or closing duties as required

Requirements:
- Fluency in English (both speaking and writing)
- Previous experience as a cashier or in customer service preferred
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy when handling money
- Friendly demeanor with a positive attitude towards customers and coworkers
- Willingness to learn new tasks quickly
- Must be able to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays
