Contract Loader - Salalah, Oman

Our company is seeking a reliable and hardworking Contract Loader to join our team in Salalah. As a Loader, you will be responsible for loading and unloading goods, materials, and products onto trucks or other transportation vehicles. This is a physically demanding job that requires heavy lifting and the ability to work in various weather conditions.

Responsibilities:
- Load and unload goods onto trucks or other transportation vehicles
- Secure loads using ropes, chains, straps, or other methods
- Ensure proper distribution of weight to maintain balance during transport
- Inspect goods for damage before loading and report any issues to the supervisor
- Follow safety procedures and regulations at all times
- Operate equipment such as forklifts or pallet jacks to assist with loading and unloading
- Keep track of loaded goods using inventory lists or manifests
- Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors regarding any issues or concerns

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 1 year experience as a Loader or similar role
- Physically fit with the ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50lbs)
- Familiarity with safety regulations and procedures related to loading/unloading goods
- Good communication skills in English (Arabic is a plus)
- Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately

Bonus Qualifications:
- Forklift certification
- Experience operating other equipment such as pallet jacks or cranes
- Basic knowledge of inventory management systems
