Librarian - Part Time (Indians Only) in Dubai



We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced Librarian to join our team in Dubai. As a part-time Librarian, you will be responsible for managing the library's collection, providing reference and research services to patrons, and overseeing the day-to-day operations of the library.

Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and organize the library's collection of books, periodicals, and other materials
- Assist patrons in finding and accessing resources for research or personal use
- Develop and implement programs to promote reading and literacy within the community
- Maintain accurate records of library materials, borrowing activities, and patron information
- Supervise library assistants and volunteers
- Ensure that the library is clean, organized, and welcoming to all patrons
- Keep up-to-date with new trends in librarianship and technology to enhance library services

Requirements:
- Must be an Indian national currently residing in Dubai with valid visa sponsorship
- Bachelor's degree in Library Science or related field
- Minimum of 2 years experience working as a Librarian
- Strong knowledge of cataloging systems, research techniques, and information technologies
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact with diverse groups of people
- Organizational skills with attention to detail
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Flexibility to work weekends or evenings as needed

Salary: AED 1700 per month (part-time)
