Junior Accountant



We are seeking a detail-oriented Junior Accountant to join our team in Manama. This position offers a competitive salary of 1000$ and does not include accommodation. However, we provide visa sponsorship for the right candidate.

As a Junior Accountant, you will be responsible for assisting with various accounting tasks such as preparing financial statements, reconciling accounts, and processing invoices. You will also work closely with senior accountants to ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.

The ideal candidate will have a degree in accounting or a related field and at least 1-2 years of experience in an accounting role. Proficiency in MS Office and accounting software is also required. Strong analytical skills and attention to detail are essential for success in this role.

Responsibilities:
- Assist with the preparation of financial statements
- Reconcile accounts and resolve any discrepancies
- Process invoices and maintain accurate records
- Support senior accountants with month-end close activities
- Assist with budgeting and forecasting processes
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
- 1-2 years of experience in an accounting role
- Proficiency in MS Office and accounting software (e.g. QuickBooks)
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal)
- Knowledge of local tax laws and regulations is preferred
