Executive Chef
The Executive Chef will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the kitchen operations at our luxury restaurant in Dar Kulaib. We are seeking a highly skilled and creative chef who is passionate about creating high-quality and innovative dishes. The ideal candidate will have experience in managing a team, developing menus, and maintaining food quality and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee all kitchen operations including food preparation, cooking, and plating
- Develop menus that cater to the preferences and dietary restrictions of our guests
- Manage inventory and food costs to ensure profitability of the restaurant
- Train and supervise kitchen staff, ensuring a high level of performance and teamwork
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen according to health code regulations
- Collaborate with management to plan special events or promotions
Requirements:
- Proven experience as an Executive Chef or similar role in a fine dining establishment
- Culinary degree or equivalent certification preferred
- Strong leadership skills with a track record of managing a diverse team
- Knowledge of various cooking techniques and cuisines
- Ability to create new dishes while also maintaining consistency in established menu items
- Understanding of food cost control, inventory management, and health code regulations
- Excellent communication skills in English, Arabic proficiency preferred
Location: This position is based in Dar Kulaib. Candidates from other cities may be considered but must be willing to relocate.
Salary: Competitive salary of $1100 per month plus potential for bonuses based on performance.
