As a Crane Operator, your main responsibility will be to operate various types of cranes to lift, move, and position heavy materials or objects on construction sites or other job locations. You will work closely with the construction team to ensure that materials are moved safely and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

- Operate cranes according to safety regulations and manufacturer instructions
- Inspect crane equipment before use and report any defects or issues
- Understand load capacities and make necessary adjustments when operating the crane
- Communicate effectively with ground crew through hand signals or two-way radio
- Ensure that loads are secure before lifting them
- Keep accurate records of materials lifted, distances moved, and hours worked
- Troubleshoot any mechanical issues that may arise during operation
- Maintain cleanliness of crane equipment and report any maintenance needs
- Follow all safety procedures on the job site

Requirements:

- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid license/certification for operating cranes (e.g. CCO certification)
- Minimum of 2 years experience operating cranes in a construction or industrial setting
- Physically fit and able to lift heavy objects
- Knowledge of safety regulations and procedures related to crane operation
- Ability to work long hours and be available for urgent assignments
- Proficiency in English preferred
- Indian or African nationality preferred
