Dietitian - Nutrition Specialist

As a Dietitian - Nutrition Specialist, you will be responsible for providing nutrition counseling and education to clients, designing personalized meal plans, and monitoring their progress towards achieving their health goals. You will work closely with clients to assess their nutritional needs and develop strategies to improve their overall health and well-being. This role requires strong communication skills, as well as the ability to work independently and collaboratively with a team of healthcare professionals.

Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct nutrition assessments for clients and develop individualized meal plans based on their specific needs
- Provide nutrition counseling and education to clients on healthy eating habits, portion control, and lifestyle changes
- Monitor client progress and make adjustments to meal plans as needed
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, such as doctors and nurses, to ensure comprehensive care for clients
- Stay up-to-date on research and trends in the field of nutrition to provide evidence-based recommendations
- Maintain accurate records of client information, progress notes, and billing information
- Educate clients on food labels, portion sizes, and healthy food choices when dining out
- Utilize motivational interviewing techniques to support clients in making positive changes in their diet and lifestyle

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Nutrition or related field required; Master's degree preferred
- Minimum of 2 years of experience working as a Dietitian or Nutritionist preferred
- Registered Dietitian/Nutritionist (RD/RDN) credential required
- Excellent communication skills in English; proficiency in Arabic is a plus
- Knowledge of principles of medical nutrition therapy for chronic diseases
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
- Experience using electronic medical records preferred
Salary: $1200 per month (tax-free)
Location: Mecca, Saudi Arabia (accommodation provided)
