Head Chef


We are in search of a talented and skilled Head Chef to join our team at a luxurious resort in Al-Khor, Qatar. As the Head Chef, you will be responsible for overseeing the entire culinary operation, including menu planning, food preparation, and kitchen management. The ideal candidate will have a passion for creating delicious and visually appealing dishes while maintaining the highest standards of hygiene and food safety. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Executive Chef looking to take on a leadership role in a dynamic and diverse environment.

Responsibilities:
- Create innovative menus that cater to international guests' tastes and preferences
- Oversee food preparation and ensure high-quality dishes are served consistently
- Manage kitchen staff, including hiring, training, and scheduling
- Maintain inventory levels and ensure the timely ordering of necessary supplies
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations at all times
- Develop relationships with local suppliers to source fresh and high-quality ingredients
- Monitor food costs and implement cost-saving measures without compromising on quality
- Collaborate with other departments to plan special events or themed menus
- Conduct regular inspections of equipment to ensure proper functioning and report any issues immediately

Requirements:
- Proven experience as an Executive Chef or equivalent position in a high-end establishment
- Culinary degree or equivalent certification from a recognized institution preferred
- Strong knowledge of different cuisines, cooking techniques, ingredients, and flavor profiles
- Ability to lead and motivate a team in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication skills to effectively manage staff and interact with guests
- Familiarity with health codes, safety standards, and sanitation guidelines
- Proficiency in budgeting, menu planning, costing, inventory management
and purchasing
- Willingness to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends,and holidays
