Head Chef


A renowned restaurant in Jeddah is seeking a talented Head Chef to lead our kitchen team. As the Head Chef, you will be responsible for creating and executing menus, managing inventory and budgets, and maintaining high standards of food quality and presentation. We are looking for someone with experience in a variety of cuisines, as well as strong leadership skills to motivate and train our kitchen staff. The ideal candidate will also have excellent communication skills to liaise with front-of-house staff and collaborate with management on business strategy. Responsibilities:
- Create seasonal menus that showcase the best of local ingredients
- Manage inventory and ensure all ingredients are sourced from reputable suppliers
- Develop recipes that adhere to food safety standards
- Train and supervise kitchen staff on food preparation techniques
- Monitor kitchen operations to maintain efficiency
- Maintain high levels of cleanliness and sanitation in the kitchen area
- Collaborate with management on cost control measures
- Ensure all dishes are prepared according to established recipes and standards
- Conduct regular quality control checks on food preparation, presentation, and taste

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Head Chef or Executive Chef in a fast-paced restaurant setting
- Excellent knowledge of different cuisines, cooking techniques, and flavor profiles
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and train kitchen staff effectively
- Ability to work under pressure while maintaining high levels of quality
- Excellent communication skills to coordinate with front-of-house staff
- Knowledge of food safety regulations
- Creativity in menu development
- Strong sense of organization and attention to detail
- Culinary degree or equivalent experience

Salary: $1100/month
