Warehouse Worker
We are currently hiring a Warehouse Worker to join our team in Split. As a Warehouse Worker, you will be responsible for receiving, storing, and distributing materials and products within our warehouse. Your main tasks will include loading and unloading shipments, organizing inventory, and maintaining a clean and safe working environment.
To excel in this role, you should have strong physical stamina as the job requires heavy lifting and long periods of standing. You must also have excellent organizational skills and attention to detail to ensure accurate inventory management. Previous experience working in a warehouse or similar environment is preferred but not required.
Responsibilities:
- Receive incoming shipments and verify contents against purchase orders
- Unload shipments from trucks using forklifts or other equipment
- Sort, label, and store incoming products in designated areas
- Retrieve products from inventory for shipment or delivery
- Pack products securely for shipping or storage
- Maintain accurate records of all incoming and outgoing shipments
- Conduct regular inventory checks to ensure accuracy of stock levels
- Keep the warehouse clean, organized, and free of safety hazards
- Assist with other duties as assigned by the Warehouse Manager
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods of time
- Prior experience working in a warehouse or similar environment preferred but not required
- Familiarity with warehouse equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, etc.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records
- Good communication skills and ability to work well in a team setting
