Cashier for a Busy Retail Store - Al-Malikiyah, Syria


We are in search of a customer service-oriented Cashier to join our retail team in Al-Malikiyah. As a Cashier, you will be responsible for accurately and efficiently processing customer transactions, handling cash and credit card payments, and providing exceptional service to ensure customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities:
- Greet customers with a warm and friendly attitude
- Scan and bag items accurately and efficiently
- Process cash and credit card transactions with precision
- Handle returns and exchanges according to company policies
- Maintain a clean and organized checkout area
- Answer customer inquiries about products, services, and store policies
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during busy periods
- Keep track of inventory levels and report any discrepancies to management

Requirements:
- Proven work experience as a cashier or in a similar role
- Excellent math skills and attention to detail
- Ability to handle cash transactions with accuracy and honesty
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Customer service-oriented mindset with the ability to resolve issues effectively
- Proficient in using electronic payment systems (POS)
- Must be able to work flexible shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays

Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working in a retail environment is highly desirable
- Fluent in Arabic is preferred
