Executive Chef at a Luxury Resort in Ar-Ruwais, Egypt
We are seeking an experienced Executive Chef to lead the culinary team at our luxury resort in Ar-Ruwais, Egypt. As the Executive Chef, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the resort's food and beverage operations, including menu planning, food preparation, inventory management, and staff training. This is a full-time position with a competitive salary of 1500$ per month.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain high-quality menus that reflect local flavors and ingredients
- Monitor food costs and maintain budgeted food cost percentage
- Train and supervise kitchen staff to ensure top-notch quality and consistency in all dishes
- Oversee inventory management to ensure adequate stock levels of all food items
- Maintain health and safety standards in the kitchen at all times
- Collaborate with other departments to plan and execute special events or themed dinners
- Continuously strive for innovation in menu development and presentation
Requirements:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as an Executive Chef in a luxury hotel or resort setting
- Fluent in English (Arabic is a plus)
- Knowledge of Egyptian cuisine is preferred but not required
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and mentor staff members
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
