Driver Assistant

As a Driver Assistant, you will work closely with our experienced drivers to assist in the safe and efficient transportation of goods and materials. You will be responsible for loading and unloading cargo, performing vehicle maintenance checks, and ensuring the security of the cargo during transit. This role is physically demanding and requires strong organizational skills.

Responsibilities:
- Assist the driver in loading and unloading cargo from the vehicle
- Perform routine maintenance checks on the vehicle before and after each trip
- Secure cargo properly to prevent damage during transit
- Keep accurate records of all trips, including mileage, fuel consumption, and delivery times
- Communicate effectively with the driver to ensure timely deliveries
- Follow all safety protocols and regulations while on the road
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment in the vehicle
- Report any issues or concerns to the driver or supervisor immediately

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Physically fit and able to lift heavy objects repeatedly
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail
- Ability to communicate effectively in English (knowledge of other languages is a plus)
- Familiarity with basic vehicle maintenance (e.g. changing tires, checking fluids)
- Prior experience as a driver assistant is preferred but not required

Working Conditions:
As this role involves working closely with our drivers, you will spend most of your time on the road. You may be required to work long hours and weekends depending on delivery schedules. You must also be willing to work in various weather conditions.

Salary:
Starting salary for this position is $1700 per month.

Location:
This position is based in Remish but may require occasional travel within the city or surrounding areas.

Note:
This position does not require prior driving experience but it is preferred. Training will be provided for successful candidates.
