Title: Excavator Operator
As an Excavator Operator in Wiltz, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining heavy machinery used for excavating and moving materials. You will work on construction sites, road projects, and other civil engineering projects. Your main duties will include loading and unloading materials, digging trenches, leveling terrain, and operating the excavator safely and efficiently. You must have a valid excavator operator license and experience in operating various types of excavators. Good knowledge of safety protocols and maintenance procedures is essential for this role. You should also be physically fit and able to work in all weather conditions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate the excavator according to safety regulations and company policies
- Load and unload materials using the excavator
- Dig trenches, level terrain, and perform other excavation tasks as required
- Conduct routine maintenance on the excavator to ensure optimal performance
- Report any equipment malfunctions or safety hazards to the supervisor
- Follow project plans and instructions from the site manager or foreman
- Adhere to all safety protocols on site at all times
Requirements:
- Valid excavator operator license
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in operating various types of excavators
- Knowledge of safety regulations and maintenance procedures
- Physically fit with good hand-eye coordination
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Good communication skills
- Willingness to work flexible hours including weekends if required
Salary:
We offer a competitive salary of $1800 per month for this contract position.
Location:
This position is based in Wiltz but may require travel to different job sites within the country.
