A renowned pastry shop in the charming city of Wiltz, Luxembourg is seeking a highly skilled and creative Pastry Chef to join our team. As a Pastry Chef, you will be responsible for creating and preparing a variety of delicious pastries, desserts, and baked goods using your expertise and artistic flair.

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Pastry Chef or similar role
- Excellent knowledge of pastry and dessert preparation techniques
- Creative with an eye for detail
- Ability to follow recipes accurately and adapt them as needed
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Flexibility to work early mornings, evenings, weekends and holidays as needed

Responsibilities:
- Plan and create menus for pastries, desserts, and baked goods based on seasonal availability and customer demand
- Bake pastries, cakes, cookies, breads and other items from scratch using quality ingredients while adhering to food safety standards
- Decorate cakes, pastries and other desserts according to the bakery's standards or customer requests
- Manage inventory of ingredients and supplies ensuring timely ordering when necessary
- Train junior pastry chefs on proper techniques, recipes and procedures
- Maintain a clean and organized work area following all sanitation guidelines
- Interact with customers in a friendly manner providing information on products when needed

Qualifications:
- Degree or certification in Pastry Arts or relevant field
- Minimum of 2 years experience as a Pastry Chef
- Knowledge of baking equipment including mixers, ovens etc.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Fluent in English (French or German is an asset)
