Executive Chef in Dickirch, Luxembourg
Our luxury hotel in Dickirch, Luxembourg is seeking an experienced Executive Chef to join our team. As the Executive Chef, you will be responsible for overseeing the culinary operations of our hotel's restaurants and catering services. You will be working closely with our kitchen staff to ensure the highest quality of food and service is provided to our guests.
Responsibilities:
- Create and maintain menus for all restaurant outlets and catering services
- Oversee the preparation and presentation of all food items
- Train and manage kitchen staff, including scheduling and performance evaluations
- Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations
- Monitor food inventory levels and order supplies when needed
- Collaborate with other department heads to plan special events and promotions
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment
Requirements:
- Previous experience as an Executive Chef or similar role in a high-end hotel or restaurant
- Extensive knowledge of various cuisines, cooking techniques, and food presentation
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and train kitchen staff to achieve high standards
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Understanding of food cost control and budget management
- Fluent in English (knowledge of French or German is a plus)
- Valid work permit for Luxembourg
