Part-Time Instrument Technician
Location: Dickirch, Luxembourg
The Part-Time Instrument Technician will be responsible for assisting in the maintenance and repair of various types of instruments in a laboratory setting. This is an excellent opportunity for students or individuals without prior experience in the field to gain hands-on experience and develop their skills in a professional environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the maintenance and repair of laboratory instruments such as spectrometers, chromatographs, and microscopes.
- Perform routine calibration and testing of instruments.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with instruments.
- Clean and maintain equipment to ensure accurate and reliable results.
- Maintain inventory of spare parts and supplies.
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Currently enrolled in a technical or scientific program preferred.
- No prior experience required, but some basic knowledge of laboratory instruments is desirable.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
- Good communication skills.
- Must be able to work independently as well as part of a team.
Working Hours:
This is a part-time position with flexible working hours that can accommodate class schedules. The technician will work approximately 20 hours per week.
Salary:
The salary for this position is $1500 per month.
Location:
The laboratory is located in Dickirch, Luxembourg. Candidates must have reliable transportation to commute to the lab.
