Head Pastry Chef

As a Head Pastry Chef, you will be responsible for creating and overseeing the production of all pastries and desserts for our upscale restaurant located in Dickirch. You will work closely with the Executive Chef to develop new and innovative pastry items that will delight our guests. Your creativity, attention to detail, and strong leadership skills will be essential in maintaining the high standards of our pastry department.

Responsibilities:
- Develop new pastry and dessert menus in collaboration with the Executive Chef
- Oversee the production of all pastries and desserts, ensuring high quality and consistency
- Train and mentor pastry staff on proper techniques, sanitation practices, and menu execution
- Manage inventory and ordering of ingredients to maintain a well-stocked kitchen
- Maintain a clean and organized pastry station at all times
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain a safe working environment

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Pastry Chef or similar role in a fine dining establishment
- Extensive knowledge of pastry techniques, ingredients, and flavor combinations
- Creative mindset with an eye for detail
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to train and motivate a team
- Excellent time management skills to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of food safety regulations
- Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays

Education:
A degree or certification in culinary arts or pastry making is preferred but not required. Equivalent work experience will also be considered.

Salary:
We offer a competitive salary of 1600$ per month for this full-time position.
